Own Time: meet the experts
Introducing the multi-award-winning fragrance journalist, Alice Du Parcq, who helped co-create Own Time.

When creating Own Time, we called on the fragrance industry’s most knowledgeable experts to help us craft a neuroscience-backed formula, an alluring scent profile, and an emotive expression that brought our first-ever Eau Du Parfum to life. Multi-award-winning fragrance journalist, event host, presenter and ‘scentfluencer’ Alice Du Parcq, worked with us to perfectly describe how the feeling of grounding, comfort and rest would smell within a fine fragrance. She describes Own Time as ‘the scent companion to the final chapter of your day’ - perfectly capturing the essence of how this fine fragrance would fit seamlessly into your evening ritual.
Here, she shares how she, alongside Professor Gaby Badre and renowned perfumer Julie Noé, helped bring to life a scent that is not only backed by years of neuroscientific research, but truly tells the story of what Own Time was set out to do – empower you to take back your evening and reclaim the precious hours of 6 pm – midnight for calm, connection and better sleep.
