No wrinkles – it works!

This Works’ philosophy for ageing wisely is simple: stay out of the sun, wear a hat, an SPF and use skin care with proven natural actives that work. To effectively and simply deliver on the last element of its philosophy, This Works anti-ageing collection – no wrinkles – harnesses a potent concentration of the most effective anti-ageing ingredients sourced from nature including Retinol, Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin C.

Kathy Phillips says “Some people react to Retinol, a synthesised form of Vitamin A which has proven in the formulation of cosmetics to minimise fine lines and wrinkles. If you are worried about using it, ease into it very carefully. It may be that you use it in a cream form, once every couple of days until you build up to using it every day. It will take you longer to see the results but it would be worth it in the long run because you won’t irritate your skin. Retinyl Palmitate, a gentler form of Retinol is another option. So again it would take you longer to loose the lines and wrinkles but you won’t irritate your skin in the process. If your skin is irritated by Retinol it might well be irritated by vitamin C or glycolic acid as well and it would certainly be irritated by perfume.”

Vogue recently referred to Retinol as the “a revolutionary skin-care ingredient”. click here to read more.

The results of Retinol and our no wrinkles range can be seen in the drastic before and after photo’s that our no wrinkles competition winner, Amanda Goldston, sent in.

This is what Amanda had to say about the range, “I won some of  the gorgeous This Works products earlier in the year and I have been using them every day since then. You can see the difference in my skin. No wrinkles eye repair is particularly amazing to me. I have had wrinkles and lines under my eyes since I was a teenager and nothing has helped. You can really see the difference and it is down to using the retinol eye cream every day.”

Westwood also showed loosely-fitted, striped shirt-dresses; wide-collared jackets layered over longer shirts and trousers; and bow-tied bustiers with baggy jeans, held up by a single brace, slung crosswise over the body.

Even then, the African colors were understated: Silk maxi dresses were printed in faded, earthy hues of brick red and burnt umber, and safari shirt dresses are black with only a glimpse of leopard print at the shoulder or hem.

But that was just the beginning of Saint Laurent’s fantastic oeuvre and career. Room after room was bursting with beautiful dresses, gowns, and Les Smokings that followed his career through the Gender Revolution and around the world from his interpretation of Russia, India, China, Japan, and Morocco, and with his supporters and muses Lou Lou de la Falaise, Betty Catroux, Paloma Picasso, and Catherine Deneuve.
