Breathe In

After the Christmas indulgence it’s time to get fit and well-focused, clear the lungs, and de-stress.
Even if it’s just putting a stop to too many mince pies and slices of Christmas cake (well I’m speaking for myself), January seems to be the moment for planning the new, healthy you.
Some people are lucky enough to escape to the sun while others are gearing up for ski-ing. Thank goodness my favourite This Works product is so small I can take it on the plane with no worries. Breathe In, which is in my handbag at all times is the first thing on my checklist for any trip. It’s in a tiny roll-on format which lasts an incredibly long time considering I must use it every day. To me, it’s vital to help fend off germs in the atmosphere when you travel, thanks to its’ antiseptic eucalyptus and ravensara formulation and to stop you catching a cold from the spluttering man in the next seat. Put it on a tissue; roll it under your nose, on glands etc. (Luckily other people in the cabin always love the smell.) I tend to take more than one with me because I always end up giving them away.
The last time I did this it was for the two- year-old baby of a girlfriend. He was spluttering and coughing and really getting upset at feeling horrible. I kept waving the Breathe In under his nose and he soon just calmed down and gurgled.
The secret ingredient of the formulation is the addition of frankincense.
People in the know understand that frankincense helps you breathe deeper. You sort of take a Yoga breath when you inhale it. So Breathe In calms you as well as stopping you getting ill. If you really feel you’ve got something nasty coming on. Take the roll- on stopper off and pour the ingredients into a hot bath. If you catch it early enough, you can beat the germs.
Now I think of it. It’s essentially Yoga in a bottle.
