Head of Ecommerce – Temporary Contract
This Works is seeking a Head of Ecommerce to join the company’s fastest growing channel, ThisWorks.com for a period of 18 months. The successful applicant will be responsible for the development of the Brand's global end-to-end multi-channel e-commerce strategy for both Thisworks.com and on third party retailer sites.
The channel will be managed in line with the brand’s global commercial objectives, focusing on aggressively driving customer acquisition and increasing brand awareness through direct media and the digital environment as well as improving customer retention through a dedicated CRM strategy, both in the UK and chosen International markets.
2016 is an exciting year for ThisWorks.com as the brand will embark on the development and re-launch of a new website and the launch of a dedicated US website improving order fulfilment, operations and targeted communications to increase sales and drive efficient, profitable trading.
The successful candidate must have previous experience of P&L management and being accountable to a variety of stakeholders. They must be experienced in launching new sites and have the proven track record across these areas of responsibility in order to be able to integrate quickly within the business and quickly and efficiently tackle key projects.
They will manage and mentor a small online team to help you deliver success in what is a very exciting year to come for ThisWorks.com.
National Sales Manager:
The National Sales Manager is responsible for national account management and retailer results across key chains and independent partners. The core of their responsibilities will initially be within the UK and Europe, but will also cover some chains with broader international reach. They will be leading a multichannel business strategy to develop both brand awareness and customer experience.
They will be responsible for presenting the brand and product ranges to all major retailers and the negotiation of commercial terms to build sustainable long term business plans. They will be responsible for establishing the targets for each account and for robust follow up on performance. Their mission is to continue to grow the business in all areas of sales, developing the brand image across distribution and ultimately delivering bottom line profitability. Working as part of the management team they will be influential in shaping the sales and training strategy and leading the UK field sales team.
They are responsible for leading this division of the business ensuring excellence in service in the field, delivery of sales targets and meeting of profit targets. They must manage and execute all areas of responsibility with accuracy and efficiency and continually look at ways of improving performance across the network.
They will be responsible for managing the field sales and training team. They must support their daily activities and drive them to perform at the highest standard in order to further develop the brand in the marketplace, educate retail staff and follow up on performance across accounts.
Regional Sales and Training Manager - South of England
Reporting to the Retail and Training Manager, this individual will be a high calibre commercially focused manager for the South of England. They will be responsible for managing a portfolio of regional, independent and national retailer accounts to ensure growth in sales and brand awareness.
Their focus will be on achieving agreed wholesale and retail targets across designated areas through regular visits, stock and merchandising reviews, and development of strong partnerships with key accounts. To support this they will need to be able to deliver training programmes designed for use by retailer staff and ensure robust follow up on KPI's .
As key brand ambassadors they must convey the spirit and values of the brand across a variety of environments through dynamic and professional management.
